Undergraduate Research in Nutritional Sciences
The Department of Nutritional Sciences supports students as they enrich their undergraduate educations with opportunities to work, shoulder-to-shoulder, with scientists engaged in basic science and applied research. These research opportunities provide latitude for independent but supported inquiry, inspiration, and discovery. Students develop their capacity for critical thinking and problem solving while receiving class credit (NTR 355).
There are many different ways to get involved in the research process and many resources for students to find a mentor who will guide them through the process of discovery.
