Salt, Osmosis and Quick Pickles

Ingredients:

-1 large cucumber

-1/2 TBSP salt

-½ TBSP sugar

 

Instructions: 

1. Cut the cucumber into thin coins (peel if desired). 

2. Place cucumber coins and salt/sugar in a large bowl, mix to coat. 

3. Wait 30 minutes to 1 hour, taste and adjust seasoning if desired.
