Healthy Popsicles

Serves 6

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
Red Bean flavor:

1. Red Bean 50 g
2. Barley Rice 30 g
3. Milk 150 mL
4. Sugar 50 g
5. Starch 2 tsp

Mung(Green) Bean Flavor:
1. Mung Bean 50 g
2. Crystal sugar 60 g
3. Starch 2 tsp

Honey Oats Flavor:
1. Oats 45 g
2. Coconut Milk 150 mL
3. Honey 3 tbsp

Special Tools: 6 Popsicle Molds

Directions;
1. For the red and mung beans, add water and beans (cook barley rice with red beans) in the pot, then boil for 1 hour. Remove the water, then add water again. Cook until the beans become mushy and make sure there is not too much water remaining.
i) For red bean, add milk and sugar first. Dissolve starch in water, and then add in the pot. Cook till it gelatinizes.
ii) For mung beans, add crystal sugar first, and then dissolve the starch and add in the pot. Cook till it gelatinizes.
2. For oats, add oats and water until oats are fully cooked and sticky.i) Add coconut milk and honey. Stir and cook till it boils.
3. Pour the mixture of each flavor in popsicle molds.
4. Cool down the products in ice bath.
5. Leave them in freezer for at least 4 hours.
6. After freezing, put the popsicle molds in the cool water until you can take the popsicle out of the molds easily.
