Required Application Materials
Application Form
Complete the required application form online. You will be able to upload the following items with your online application.
Cover Sheet
A cover sheet with your full name, email address, phone number, current address, and current school.
Essay
Answer the following short essay questions. Please limit your responses to 200 words per prompt.
- Tell us about a meaningful learning experience; for example, in a class, at an internship, at a job, in a research lab, etc. What impact did this experience have on you?
- Tell us about a scientific topic or topics that you have been exposed to in your coursework that excite you. Why are they of particular interest to you?
- How will this summer research experience relate to your personal, academic, and career goals.
- (Optional) Please describe any additional information or special circumstances that you would like us to consider as part of your application.
Current CV/resume
A current CV or resume should include your educational background, relevant courses taken, related employment experience, relevant research experiences and any publications.
If you have limited resume writing experience, we highly recommend using the Purdue Online Writing Lab's resume website as a resource.
How to Submit Your Application
- Collate all of the the required application materials into a single PDF document. Include your first and last name in the file name when saving the document. (Ex. LastName_FirstName.PDF)
- Submit your application materials online HERE.
Once your application packet has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from the program. After the review process is complete, you will be notified of the outcome of your application via email.
Application Period
Applications for the Summer 2022 session will be accepted beginning March 5th, 2022. Applications are due by April 5th, 2022.
