Public Health Week 2018: Carnival
Monday, April 02, 2018, 10:00am - 02:00pm

Every year, the American Public Health Association designates the first week of April as National Public Health Week. The student organization, Texas Public Health, works to bring the event to the UT Austin campus. During the week, they promote health education, disease prevention, and population health within the UT community.

The kick-off event is Carnival. Various university organizations, student organizations, and nonprofit groups will be hosting carnival-themed health education activities. They will have FREE stickers, t-shirts to tie-dye, and FREE HIV testing by AIDS Services of Austin. Also take a break from exams and destress by PETTING a miniature horse from Healing with Horses Ranch and pit bulls from Love-A-Bull.
