Application Information & Tips
  1. The CNS Common Scholarship Application is for current CNS undergraduates only. Prospective CNS freshmen can find more information on CNS scholarships for incoming freshmen on our Scholarships for Future Students website.
  2. Be sure to carefully read the instructions page before beginning and submitting your application.
  3. Applications are not evaluated on a rolling basis. There is no advantage given to those who submit their application first. Students should take time to thoroughly answer each question and to carefully craft the essay responses. Proofread all answers and essays before submitting.
  4. This application will determine awards for current students for the 2024-2025 academic year. Students graduating in Spring 2024 or Summer 2024 are not eligible to apply.
  5. Out-of-state prospective CNS undergraduates interested in applying for an out-of-state tuition waiver should contact scholarships@cns.utexas.edu for information on how to apply. The deadline for all students (current or prospective) to apply for a waiver is March 15, 2024 (11:59 PM CT). Late applications are not accepted.
