The Aging Network is hosting a discussion with Teresa Ferguson of Austin Up about a new initiative that the city of Austin has adopted: The Age-Friendly Austin Plan. The initiative (http://www.austinup.org/watch-the-age-friendly-austin-news-conference/) focuses on all aspects of aging and well-being- physical, social, housing, political. And Austin Up is also interested in seeing technological solutions to problems of aging such as transportation.
