Nurturing roots for life-long learning. The Child and Family Laboratory provides a high quality early childhood experience to children ages 18 months through 6 years of age. We provide educational and training opportunities for our university students through observation and interaction in the classrooms.

The Dell Pediatric Research Institute (DPRI) is The University of Texas at Austin’s new state-of-the-art medical research facility that will advance understanding of childhood diseases and disorders and help take pediatric care in Central Texas to a new level.
Historical Textiles and Apparel Collection
The Division of Textiles and Apparel, School of Human Ecology, holds a collection of over 5,000 textile and apparel items. Artifacts date from an 1820 empire bodice in mint condition to 1980s women’s daytime and evening apparel and accessories.
