Description: Computer technology is an essential skill in the modern fashion industry. Transforming creative design ideas into viable garments is one of the biggest challenges a designer faces. This May workshop offers students the opportunity to learn the principles of fashion design and marketing using Photoshop and Illustrator.

Assignments focus on establishing fashion design principles through digital line design development techniques. Students develop increasingly advanced skills using the core software to produce coordinated fashion design presentations, flat sketches, mood boards, fashion editorial trend boards, marketing materials and portfolio layout techniques. Course assignments focus on establishing industry techniques and developing proficiency in creating fashion designs using multiple Adobe programs.

THIS WORKSHOP IS NON-CREDITED AND CANNOT SUBSTITUTE FOR ANY TXA OR UNIVERSITY CREDIT COURSES.
