School of Human Ecology Administered Scholarships
The School of Human Ecology administers many scholarships that are granted on a merit/need basis. We award approximately $100,000 to our undergraduate students each year.
The application process for the following academic year begins in early February and applications are due in mid-March. The application process involves filling out just one application which provides eligibility for all School of Human Ecology scholarships.
We aim to notify students by the end of June each year. This page will be updated when recipients are notified.
All undergraduate scholarship recipients are required to write thank you letters to the donor(s) of their award. Recipients should reference our Guide to Writing Thank You Letters to Donors and the SoHE Scholarship Policy. Recipients must submit a MS Word format copy of their letter and hard copy with their original signature to the Office of Experiential Learning at the following addresses:
200 W. 24th Street
Gearing Hall 108
Austin, TX 78712
Thank you letters should be sent by 8am on July 17, 2015. The MS Word copy of the letter should be saved as “YourLastName_YourFirstName_20XX20XXletter”.
