Topic of talk is prevention of cancer with dietary isothiocynates

Shivendra Singh, Ph.D., will present a talk titled, “Cancer Prevention with Dietary Isothiocyanates” as part of the on-going speaker series in the Department of Nutritional Sciences.

Singh is a professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh, Hillman Cancer Center. Singh’s research focuses on preclinical and clinical development of novel agents, derived from dietary sources and traditional oriental and Indian medicinal plants, for the prevention of prostate and breast cancer in humans.
