In accordance with the wishes of Dr. Jean Andrews, this talk is open and free to the public.
Of the Jean Andrews Centennial Visiting Professor program here at The University of Texas at Austin, Nutritional Sciences faculty member Dr. Linda deGraffenried says, “The Jean Andrews Centennial Visiting Professorship allows our students and our alumni access to world-class researchers. This is a unique opportunity to meet and talk with the researchers whose work shaped the field of Nutritional Sciences.”
Dr. Milner’s research examines the critical intersection of cancer prevention, diet, and genetics. In his current position at the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Milner promotes research that deals with the physiological importance of dietary bioactive compounds as modifiers of cancer risk and tumor behavior.
