After contributing to over 100 peer-reviewed publications while on the faculty of the Department of Nutritional Sciences, it is not surprising that Dr. Jeanne Freeland-Graves has one of the most highly cited papers in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
The Position of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics: Total Diet Approach to Healthy Eating was published in 2013 and written with Dr. Susan Nitzke, Professor Emerita at the University of Wisconsin. The paper was one of the most highly cited in the two years following publication.
Dr. Freeland-Graves previously won the Ragus Award for Best Scientific Paper in 2007 from the American College of Nutrition.
