Public Health Week 2018: Global Health Night

Every year, the American Public Health Association designates the first week of April as National Public Health Week. The student organization, Texas Public Health, works to bring the event to the UT Austin campus. During the week, they promote health education, disease prevention, and population health within the UT community.

Their third event is Global Health Night. It is an international extravaganza featuring a diverse lineup of performances and FREE food from around the world. There will also be a silent auction, the proceeds of which will be donated to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Austin.

Performance Groups: Filipino Student Association (Nicolle Dacumos), Texas Swing Dance Society, Magic Club, Texas Deep Treble A Capella, Dance Action, Texas Lion Dance 

Food Vendors: Austin's Pizza, Sarah's Mediterranean, Madras Pavillion, Trudy's Tex-Mex, Chagos Caribbean, Thai How Are You
