Erfan Khazaee is a Ph.D. student under the mentorship of Dr. Jeanne Freeland-Graves in the Department of  Nutritional Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics from The University of Texas at Austin. Erfan aims to investigate the utilization of nutrition information available through popular media outlets and potential impact on nutritional status of adolescents.

Erfan's research areas include behavior, child and adolescent health, nutritional sciences, and obesity. Specifically, he is interested in examining meal patterns and relation to obesity and risk factors for other chronic diseases. Erfan also investigates utilization of nutrition information available through popular media outlets and potential impact on nutritional status of adolescents.
