Jiaxiu Song is a second year Ph.D. student working with Dr. Kim. She is interested in adolescent well-being at the intersections of sociocultural(e.g., socioeconomic status), school, and family contexts. Her current research focuses on how culturally specific experiences, such as language brokering, influence adolescent well-being through family processes (e.g., parenting, parent-child relationship, and marital relationship), among ethnic minority communities.
