Jenny is a third year doctoral student in Human Development and Family Science at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests lie at the intersection of developmental science and social/health psychology. She is interested in how parents create and regulate healthy environments for their children. Specifically, she investigates the role of parents in determining what children eat (i.e., dietary intake), how children eat (i.e., feeding style), and how physically active children are. Her secondary line of research focuses on psychometric evaluation and measurement of self-related traits, such as self-efficacy and self-compassion.
