Sara has worked for The University of Texas at Austin since 2018, but has worked in research at other UT System institutions and at a local non-profit focused on health promotion and disease prevention. She earned her BS in Human Biology at UT Austin and her Master's of Public Health from the UT School of Public Health at Houston. She coordinates research and laboratory activities for Dr. Widen's research studies on maternal and child health and nutrition. She is a native Austinite who spends much of her free time with her husband, kids, and dog exploring the continuously changing Austin-area or working on DIY home projects.
