Research Interests

Karrol Kitt’s current research interests focus on insurance regulation and how develop consumer-friendly regulation across all lines of insurance. Specific areas of work that Dr. Kitt focuses on are 4 Annuity Buyer’s Guides including General Information Annuity Guide, Fixed Deferred Annuity Guide, Fixed Index Deferred Annuity Guide, and Variable Deferred Annuity Guide. She is also writing by small group a CIPR Life White Paper to reflect current trends in the life insurance market. For P&C (Property & Casualty) lines of insurance, her effort is disclosure, specifically transparency and readability of insurance policies.
