We are finding answers to the big questions, solutions to the big problems.

The School of Human Ecology supports more than 70 faculty members doing surprising research. This research is important–it expands our understanding of what it means to be human and suggests ways to improve our human ecology. Our faculty’s research is supported by funding from private and public institutions like the National Science Foundation, Centers for Disease Control, National Institutes of Health, American Institutes for Cancer Research, and the United States Department of Agriculture.
